Dream Team Deadline is April 30th!

The deadline to apply for the I-Fest Dream Teams is approaching quickly. April 30th is the date to remember!

The Dream Team performances are the last feature of the I-Fest week, and they are always one of the highlights of the week. We have two Dream Teams: The Ventriloquist Dream Team and the Puppetry Dream Team.

The Ventriloquist Dream Team is a unique opportunity. Since ventriloquists usually perform alone, this is something you don’t often see. Applicants for the team need to be between the ages of 12 and…whatever. We’ve had young people and adults alike perform together on this team. You’ll love the opportunity to work with some top ventriloquists. This year’s director is Doug Nearpass.

The Puppetry Dream team is for puppeteers between the ages of 15 & 19. The team works together all week to create an amazing performance. Young people who have been a part of the team have described the experience as being like one big intense puppet workshop. You’ll learn from your directors as well as the other puppeteers on the team…and make lifelong friends in the process. This year’s Puppetry Dream Team director is Fondee Bruce.

This year, for the first time, we are offering a unique opportunity for adult leaders to be a part of the Puppetry Dream Team. Leaders can apply to be a Puppetry Dream Team assistant. It’ll be an awesome chance for leaders to work with some amazing puppet team leaders. Dream Team assistants need to be at least 25 years old and need to have been a leader or assistant leader on a puppet team for at least 2 years.
